The Hamilton Lab is directed by Jessica L. Hamilton, Ph.D., an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Clinical Psychology PhD program at Rutgers University on the New Brunswick Campus.
The Hamilton Lab was established in January 2021.

Our research identifies risk and protective factors
for the development and worsening of depression, suicidal thinking, and
self-injurious behaviors among adolescents.

The goal of our research is to inform suicide prevention programs and promote adolescent mental health using clinical and developmental science, and ensure that research and mental health is accessible and equitable across youth from diverse backgrounds.

OUR TEAM

The Hamilton Lab is new and growing! We can't wait to have more adventures together as we work towards our lab mission and enjoy each other's company!
